Recordings featuring Andrew Joy.
Andrew grew up in Perth, Western Australia, and played in a number of Australian orchestras before moving to Germany in the mid '70's. Not long after arriving he joined the Beethovenhalle Orchestra in Bonn, where he was first/third horn. In 1978 he was engaged as Solo horn of the Köln Radio Symphony Orchestra. Apart from the orchestras extensive touring and recording commitments, Andrew has committed himself to the performance of the baroque horn and natural horn with such groups as Concentus Musicus and Musica Antiqua Köln.
